Add/Change Additional Users for Business Data Sheet:
For 10-33 Users | For 34-57 Users | For 1-25 Users | For 26-50 Users

  1. Print out your Data Sheet
  2. Fill it in
  3. Mail or fax to Young Alarm

Need to test your system?

We recommend testing at least once a month! It’s easy!

  1. Call Young Alarm Dispatch (520) 748-7797
  2. Tell the dispatcher you want to test your system
  3. Give dispatcher your clearing code word or number when asked
  4. You now have 1 hour to test your system
  5. Arm your system (wait for exit delay)
  6. Open/activate a protected door, window, motion detector, etc.
  7. Allow siren to sound.
  8. Activate a different protected device each time you test
  9. Call dispatcher to verify signals

How to Change your Burglar Alarm Panel Battery

  1. Locate the Alarm Panel.
  2. Unlock "cabinet lock" (key located on top of box)
  3. Unplug both the red + positive wire lead, and the black - negative lead from the old battery
  4. Replace old battery with new battery
  5. Reconnect both the red + positive wire lead, and the black - negative lead to the new battery


How to Power Down a Burglar Alarm System

  1. Call Young Alarm Dispatch (520) 748-7797 and put your account on test
  2. Locate the Alarm Panel.
  3. Unlock "cabinet lock" (key located on top of box)
  4. Unplug both the red + positive wire lead, and the black - negative lead from the battery
  5. Locate and unplug Alarm Panel transformer from wall socket (it must be unscrewed).
  6. Your alarm system is now powered down.


How to Change Transmitter Batteries

  1. Call Young Alarm Dispatch (520) 748-7797 and put your account on test
  2. Press tab on side of transmitter with screwdriver
  3. Remove and replace battery
  4. Replace cover by first lining up plastic hinges, close carefully keeping wire antenna free
  5. Cover must close properly for transmitter to function correctly
  6. Check keypad to see if low battery has cleared
  7. Enter your code and OFF to clear

How to Change User Codes

Notes:
There is no "USER 01" - master code is the "USER 02" code.
All codes are 4 digits.

To Change Master Code:
Enter old 4 digit [MASTER CODE] - 8 - 02 - [NEW MASTER CODE]
Example: XXXX - 8 - 02 - XXXX

Buttons must be entered firmly and without long hesitations between numbers.

How to Cancel Monitoring Service:

Our contracts are month to month. We will refund unused portion of monitoring after Client cancels in writing by mail or by fax. Client must disconnect phone jack inside burglar alarm control panel in order to complete cancellation. Failure to do so may incur charges.
